On the day of our arrival (me, husband and son) the front desk told me that we have 4 people inside the room, so we were forced to pay for additional room at SGD 210++ per night, I told the receptionist that we were only 3 people with my son 15yo, we are willing to pay extrabed but not for additional room, the phone was taken over by the security that insist we have 4 people that he seen on CCTV, I asked him to come up to witness by himself, and end up I have to come down to front desk and explain, the security was not even apologize, so rude. i paid for the extrabed for 2 days appx SGD 150, the housekeeping staff who put in the extrabed was also rude, not to mention the bed sheet was not clean, the room so old and smelly, we forced ourselves to sleep because we were too tired just wanna sleep, until we found 3 cockroaches inside the room in the morning, the glass was so dirty, everything was so dirty until I come down to the same front desk staff , I told her i want to talk to the manager, she said the manager is not around that I asked her to call the manager, after she made a call, she told me as compensation, we can get 2 free breakfast, i said NO, we dont want free things, we want clean and proper room. we want to check out from that horrible room. suddenly they upgraded us to the better family room that very very different with the room that we stayed before, I dont understand why they gave us that "out of order" room, I told the front desk she should sleep inside that dirty room with many cockroaches so she can experience what we had gone through. The family room was okay, but the whole bitter experiences remains

Metropolitan YMCA Hotel 4 star all the way We are stay here 4 days 3 nights 30 Des 2023 - 2 Jan 2024 The service is really bad Our room was’t cleaned We have called many times to clean it Finally we came back that night, still not cleaned The next morning We called again and complained Being answered casually because the reasons is busy and needed to be done step by step without any apology was really disappointing The receptionist was very unfriendly, when we asked, they answered flatly, indifferently and without a smile Even thought the hotel room are not bad and the air conditioning is extraordinarily cold It would be a shame if the management system and hotel concept were not change Located in Stevens road and near the bus stop

Located at the quiet and posh community around Stevens so the place is not too busy and luxury vehicles that come and go are a usual sight in the immediate vicinity. Check-in was swift, and the staff was very responsive even during our pre-check in email query exchanges. The lobby is spacious, bright, and modern but the room floors have low ceiling and quite narrow carpeted corridors. Free wifi is available at the lobby and rooms, and recreational facilities are available for use of guests. The place itself is quite far from the busy commercial areas of Singapore but it's great for people who want a good night rest.
